I am a widower with two children, and I found myself working less and less until I found hubpages, or hubpages found me: and now I devote as much time as I can, to writing. Most frequently I describe myself as a very frustrated academic, and my book, which is taking forever to hit the shelves, is re-cycled mainly from my PhD, which I am ashamed to confess I decided to abandon for several reasons, including the poor earnings prospect of the average academic.

For me, the most comforting aspect of my so far new relationship with hubpages is that it gives me something interesting to do in my spare-timet, while I  try to expand my horizons beyond my current areas of interest, which I find perhaps a little too 'serious.'
